Toronto Board of Trade Power Breakfast Series: NUCLEAR ENERGY: WILL IT EVER WIN OVER ITS CRITICS?

Toronto Region Board of Trade, 1 First Canadian Place, 4th Floor, Lennox Hall

The Toronto Region Board of Trade kicks off the return of our popular Power Breakfast Series with the Breakthrough Institute’s Michael Shellenberger. A controversial pioneer of ecomodernism, Michael has spent more than a decade sharpening his argument that environmental stewardship and human prosperity are not mutually exclusive pursuits. The key is affordable clean energy. However, solar and wind are unable to fully supply a modern economy. Michael will explain how nuclear power can safely fill that gap before joining BNN energy reporter Jameson Berkow for a fireside chat and audience Q&A.
