IPPSA 26th Annual Conference – Staying Alive!

The Fairmont Banff Springs, Banff, Alberta

After a brief interlude, Alberta’s energy-only market is staying alive.   Investors have responded with merchant solar, merchant wind, big-scale cogen and plans for coal-to-gas conversion. Not to be outdone, policy-makers are getting down with work on market power, price cap and emissions policy. Power consumers will join the party and share what all this means for them going forward. Come join us in Banff – we’re staying alive!
