Formerly known as the Independent Power Producers' Society of Ontario, we are now the Association of Power Producers of Ontario. The organization has grown to represent over 95% of the Ontario electricity market, more than 30,000 MW of power generation capacity.

Welcome to APPrO's website, the prime site for power producers in Canada. You can find information here about electricity generation in Canada, to help you produce and/or use energy in effective and environmentally-friendly ways, or you can learn more about APPrO and some of the other organizations involved with power generation and sustainable energy systems in Canada.
