- The Canadian Centre for
Energy Information [Centre for Energy]
- The e7 Fellowship/Scholarship for
Sustainable Energy
Development (SED) is offered by "e7", a group of leading
electricity companies from the G7
nations. In conjunction with its goal of playing an active role in
protecting the global
environment, and promoting the efficient generation and use of
electricity, it is offering awards
of up to $20,000 US per year for students pursuing Masters Degrees and
up to $25,000 US per
year for post-Doctoral Fellows, each for a two-year period. These
awards are available to
students who are citizens of developing countries and countries whose
economies are in
transition (see list of eligible countries on our web site), who are
interested in continuing their
studies and contributing to the body of knowledge in Sustainable Energy
Development. They
will be available commencing in the 2002 academic year, and can be used
for tuition, books and
