APPrO 2005 Reduced Entrance Fee Program
for New Renewable Energy Companies in Ontario and Small Municipalities with Green Power Projects under Consideration

APPrO understands that growing organizations sometimes need a helping hand. That’s why we are partnering with Environment Canada – Ontario Region to extend a special offer to new renewable energy businesses in Ontario and small municipalities with green power projects under consideration.

Special reduced Delegate rates for APPrO 2005 are available to a limited number of qualified individuals working for small scale companies, start-ups and non-profit organizations in the renewable energy sector in Ontario who would like to attend the conference sessions but find the registration fee a little beyond their means.


There are three ways to participate:


1. Reduced Delegate Registration Fee

For new renewable energy businesses or organizations in Ontario we have made available a limited number of registrations at a reduced rate of $395. To qualify for a reduced fee, please send your request along with supporting documentation to info@appro.org.

In order to qualify for the reduced rate,
the applicant should meet the following criteria:

a) Represent a new Ontario-based renewable energy business or small Ontario municipality with active green power projects under consideration,

b) Has not registered as a delegate to APPrO’s annual Canadian Power Conference in the last three years,

c) Has not been a member of APPrO during the last three years.

Please note: the number of Delegate registrations available at subsidized rates is extremely limited and will be terminated without notice once the offer is fully subscribed.



2. Volunteer

If you have writing or conference administration skills, you may be able to qualify for a volunteer position which would allow free entrance to all the APPrO 2005 sessions in exchange for working during the conference. Please contact Carole Kielly at carole.kielly@appro.org for details.



3. Attend the Trade Show and Gain Entrance to Environment Canada’s Co-generation Workshop at No Charge

Register as a Trade Show Guest/Visitor and you automatically gain free access to the Cogeneration Technology Workshop session being run by Environment Canada on Tuesday afternoon, along with all of the Trade Show events throughout Monday and Tuesday.
