Principles for a sustainable and reliable Supply Mix
Generators are concerned about defining the roles for bulk supply, renewables, cogeneration, and distributed generation in a way that is stable enough to allow for long-term investment. Planners and regulators are concerned about ensuring that reliability and sustainability remain primary drivers in the standards that are defined for the management of the mix. A single solution is needed that will address both sets of concerns.

Conclusion

Note that this year the Green Power Conference will be covering issues in which the green power industry is a leading player, rather than trying to deal with issues exclusively concerning green power. Similarly, the main power conference will address issues of concern to all parts of the power sector, both green and otherwise. The differences between the two sides are shrinking over time.
